How to read the info on our bags and what does it mean?
Sep 22, 2025
Like a lot of coffee roasters we try to include as much information as we can on our packaging all while trying to make sure it doesn’t become overwhelming. The thing is though, if you don’t know what you’re looking at it makes it hard to make sense of the information in front of you. In this blog post we’re going to break down the information we include, where it’s located and why it’s there.
Please see graphic attached below for more information:
Now that you have a better understanding of what the information is and where it’s located on our bags let’s talk about the why. Our goal in sharing this information is so that you know what to expect before brewing any of our coffees as well as help you create a sense of place before drinking it.
Coffee is an agricultural product and it takes a lot for it to get to us and then to you. We want to be as transparent as we can be about what makes each coffee special. For some coffees it’s the processing or the varietal, for others it’s the country or the region but at the end of the day what makes our coffees special is the relationship behind them. We’re grateful to get to source, serve and share some truly wonderful coffees and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
